Christmas Jumper and Staff Training day combined

Once again this year, we combined a staff training day with raising money for Save the Children by taking part in Christmas Jumper Day. This meant our site staff could also take part, maximising funds raised for the charity.

Approximately 25 Enquin Environmental staff donned their Christmas jumpers on the day and made a donation to charity.

Technical staff also received valuable refresher training throughout the course of the day on topics such as:

  • Sharing Knowledge of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s)
  • System Built & CLASP Buildings
  • Lone Working
  • Use of Packers/ Spacers within Cast Concrete
  • Ceiling Void Surveying Strategy
  • Working at Height
  • PPE
  • Manual Handling
  • Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations

Sally Cuff, Service Delivery Manager, commented “combining Christmas Jumper Day with our staff training day meant we maximised our donation to charity by enabling more staff to participate.”

The Save the Children Christmas Jumper Campaign continues the work of the ITV Text Santa appeal which raised over £32 million for 25 charities in the last five years.  Well done everyone.
