Background
Mark has twenty one years experience within the asbestos industry, he has worked
on several major schemes including:
An English Southern County Council – the
surveying of council owned housing and schools, at a cost of over £100k
An
Armed Forces Base – identification and management of asbestos to allow
redevelopment of the campus.
Local Authorities – identification of asbestos
within schools and civic buildings, within 3 local authorities valued at over
£75k
A South Eastern County Council – the surveying of 126 commercial premises valued
at £45k
A South Wales NHS Trust – the identification and management of
the removal of asbestos for the redevelopment of a hospital site. A scheme worth
over 1.5m
Management Skills
Mark has many skills that are useful to a project and his depth of knowledge
ensures compliance whilst allowing the project to reach a satisfactory
conclusion. He has a variety of specialist skills including Technical
Management, Training and Auditing.
Responsibilities
UKAS Technical Manager. Mark runs the quality system and ensures
compliance with the legislation. Mark carries out surveys, project management, air
monitoring, clearance testing and auditing.
