Background
Terry has twenty five years experience within the asbestos industry and has
recently worked on several major schemes including:
A South Wales NHS Trust –
The project management and encapsulation of asbestos within a working hospital
on a phased basis over 4 years. Terry provided the on site management for most
of this period, ensuring compliance and inconvenience to the client was
minimised, the scheme for asbestos works was valued at over 2m.
A Southern
England County Council - identification of asbestos within 20 schools, 100
commercial premises, 3 leisure complexes and other civic buildings.
Local
Authorities – identification and removal of asbestos within schools and civic
buildings.
A University Campus – the surveying of many individual buildings and
the supervision of numerous removal schemes.
Financial Institutions – the
identification of asbestos in bank premises whilst the branches are in
operation. A South Wales NHS Trust – the identification and management of the
removal of asbestos for the redevelopment of a hospital site. A scheme worth
over 1.5m.
Management Skills
Terry has many skills that are useful to a project and his depth of knowledge
ensures compliance whilst allowing the project to reach a satisfactory
conclusion. He has a variety of specialist skills including Quality Management,
Training and Auditing. He has been used widely previously to deal with
‘emergency situations’ frequently resulting from accidents and litigation, which
are skills that are useful to any client.
Responsibilities
Terry will act as project manager on any major scheme, either head office
based, or where the scheme is of such a size on site. Terry has the depth of
experience to support teams across the UK with advice and guidance.
