Supporting the Big Give Challenge

Enquin Environmental is delighted to support Asbestos Awareness & Support Cymru (A.A.S.C) in the Big Give Challenge this year.

The Big Give Challenge is a National campaign which runs from Tuesday 29th November to Friday 2nd December 2016, and any online donation made will be doubled as long as the match funding lasts. A.A.S.C are hoping to reach their target of £6000.

The money will go towards the Future Generations project to raise awareness amongst children and young people in Milford Haven, Llanelli, Cardiff and Port Talbot about asbestos, the risks involved; mistakes made in the past; associated illnesses; how to care and support people with Mesothelioma and other asbestos related diseases and the work that A.A.S.C does. The project will be launched on 1st April 2017 at the Senedd in Cardiff.

A.A.S.C are the only national charity in Wales dedicated to raising awareness and providing support to people with illnesses caused by asbestos. The charity also provides support and advice to victims’ families and carers.

Sally Cuff, Enquin Environmental’s Service Delivery Manager, said “The work we do at Enquin Environmental is all about protecting people from the dangers of asbestos and so this project is a very relevant and a worthy cause which we are delighted to support. I wish them every success in reaching their £6000 target”
