Asbestos Course Details

Enquin can provide detailed course agendas when required. However, a brief outline of the courses available is detailed below.

Asbestos Awareness

(Limited to 15 delegates)

One day course including a written examination. This UKATA* approved course offers an introduction to asbestos, an overview of health effects, details of protective equipment, legislation and safe working procedures, etc.

Asbestos Awareness
Non Licensed Asbestos Works

(Limited to 8 delegates)

A two day course amalgamating the Awareness Course with detailed practical applications in dealing with specific non-licensed asbestos materials. This course is recognised by UKATA

Asbestos Management

(Limited to 8 delegates)

A two day course including practical assessment and written examination. This course could be reduced to 1 day if completed within 3 months of taking the Asbestos Awareness course from an approved training organisation. This course further investigates management plans, survey requirements, selection of surveyors and involves a practical session demonstrating surveying methodology, etc.

* UKATA works alongside the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to monitor training standards in Asbestos.
