UKATA audit success

Enquin Environmental is delighted to have successfully passed its recent bi-annual audit by the United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association (UKATA).

All UKATA Training Providers are required to complete an audit on a ‘live’ course to ensure high quality standards are maintained. The audit frequency is defined by UKATA and dependent upon the level of training provided by the training provider. Enquin Environmental is UKATA approved for Category A and B training – Asbestos Awareness and Non-Licensable Works (incl. NNLW) Training.

The audit assessed areas such as trainer knowledge, training facilities, course content, course material and practical training for non-licensable works.

The UKATA auditor stated:

“Overall this was a well delivered course. The trainer is clearly very knowledgeable with a varied asbestos career history. The practical element of the course was particularly well done, with detailed practical tasks undertaken by all delegates in small groups under the guidance of the trainer, whilst the remaining delegates observed and conducted fault finding in turn.”

Sara Blackmore, Trainer at Enquin Environmental commented:

Passing the UKATA audit not only demonstrates our commitment to quality but provides our clients with peace of mind knowing that our training courses have been independently assessed against strict criteria. Enquin Environmental were amongst the first Asbestos Consultants in the UK to be recognised as a UKATA Approved Asbestos Training Provider, having been members since 2009.
