Let’s change lives with every slice

Once again Enquin staff donned their aprons and took part in Macmillan’s biggest fund raising event for people facing cancer.

The ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ is intended to raise awareness and much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Sally Cuff, Enquin Environmental’s Service Delivery Manager, said “Our staff have always enjoyed taking part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, and this year we held the event over a lunch time, allowing staff more time to sit together and enjoy it. It’s really easy to organise as Macmillan provide everything you need in the pack, from tablecloths to bunting, games and even new recipes to try”.

Macmillan Cancer support aim to make sure no one faces cancer alone, and with one in three of us getting cancer at some point in our lives, it is one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face. Macmillan provides medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care.

Over the past five years Enquin Environmental has raised over £500.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support from hosting a ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event.

Well done to everyone who took part, especially the bakers!
